FAST Enrollment: Canada–U.S. vs Mexico–U.S. Border Routes
FAST supports commercial traffic, and the correct application path depends on whether you work the Canada–U.S. or Mexico–U.S. border.
Canada–U.S. drivers
The CBSA FAST overview describes dedicated lanes at selected crossings. CBSA says eligible drivers may be Canadian or U.S. citizens or permanent residents, reside in one of those countries, be at least 18 and be admissible to both. The driver fee is US$50.
Mexico–U.S. route
Use the official FAST information for the applicable requirements. Do not assume Canada–U.S. rules apply to another route.
Interview planning
Conditionally approved applicants use the official TTP scheduler and bring original documents. Driver approval does not certify every carrier or shipment.
Appointment Hopper currently focuses on Global Entry alerts. Ask about FAST coverage before purchasing. A private alert service cannot approve FAST membership.
Confirm current requirements with CBP and CBSA. Appointment Hopper is independent.
